Kirby Cafe

One of my favorite things I did in Japan was enjoy a meal at the Kirby Cafe right by the Tokyo Sky Tree.

I absolutely love a themed cafe!

As I made a reservation for one, I thought this experience might be awkward, as I am a 25-year-old single girl with a reservation for one, but it wasn't!

Sure, a little girl was celebrating her birthday right next to me, but like all of my other experiences in Japan, going to eat alone is NOT weird.

As I walked in, they asked.

"Fork or Spoon?"

I was so confused and said, "Fork."

They handed me a giant fork and asked for a camera.

And then it all made sense.

The whole staff was very involved in making me feel welcome. The menu was extensive and had so many fun options that it was hard to pick!

They also had some seasonal offerings.

I got the bento box, which was so yummy, and I got to take this home.

Plus, the sweet potato fries, which also came with ice cream!!

The decorations at the cafe were so cute! I had a great time sitting and watching the interactive screen of the kitchen.

And I have to say the servers were so freaking lovely. It made the experience that much more enjoyable.

If you’re in Tokyo don’t miss out on this cafe, make a reservation.
